Frosty Friday Fun

To answer A. on a yarny question. I do have a nice pattern book for Classic Elite Galaxy. It's in a stack of patterns I need to go through sometime today, so I'll grab it and take a picture. There's two patterns I want to knit up out of the booklet and I even have the yarn. No subs necessary!

After seeing a spring questionaire on Knittingkewpie's blog, then looking out of our window...

I decided to jack her list o'questions and answer them myself.

Questionnaire
1. Do you knit or crochet? How long have you been at your craft?
I knit mainly, and crochet only under duress. I've knit since 2000, so yikes! Eight years.

2. What are your favorite yarns/fibers? What are your least favorite yarns/fibers?
I love merino wool, silk and its blends, and cotton. Not so much the Shetland wool or acrylic.

3. What are your favorite colors? What are your least favorite colors? I love all colors. Different colorways appeal to me based on different moods. I don't care for the 70's colors, but have found I like them in certain ways. Knitted, I like, crocheted, eww.

4. What ‘warm weather’ project are you looking forward to making this year?
Socks and lace shawls.

5. What are you favorite scents? Least favorite? I like musk and floral, don't like 'food' smells. Food smells make me starving all the time.

6. What is your favorite flower? All of them. It's like picking your favorite kid. How can I? There are a lot of roses and irises in my garden, though...

7. What are you favorite spring time hobbies/activities? Staring at the night sky is one of my faves. I caught this lunar eclipse the other night with my cell phone camera.

I also like the home and garden shows, even if the ideas tend to put us in debt. ;)

8. Do you have a garden? If you do, tell us a little about it. Do you like to plant flowers or vegetables? I like playing around with my pond. Once it's thawed, of course. I arrange rocks, change the waterfall, fix leaks, and figure out how to put in more irises without squishing them. There's a few herbs, mint and rosemary, but no veg.

9. What are your favorite sweets?
All of them. :D I have sweet teeth.

10. Do you collect anything?
Dust, mostly. Yarn, definately.

11. Do you have any allergies?
A certain antibiotic, contrast iodine, and fabric softener fragrance.

12. Do you have any pets?
Lucky, who is currently playing outside and eating snow. Fry spent a few hours with him this morning, giving him antibiotic pills for a horrible cough of his. He'll be fine, just has a cold.

Claude, who is not happy Lucky is featured more on this blog than he is.

It's Alive!

Dang! I seriously need to blog more. It's so cold out, I tend to want to hibernate. Not that there's any laying around, ok, some.

In the past week plus, there's been roses, yarn, doggie graduations, and Presidential celebrations. Mass quantities of chocolate was eaten, washed down with diet soda. Wonder why all of us are stick thin??? :)

At any rate, here is the week in review...

Lucky has now been through Advanced training for dogs at Petsmart. He's really good at all the commands, as long as the bribes are handy. The big thing is, he kept his graduation cap on for several pictures! We were so proud of him!

We went on the superlong walk this day. All the snow had melted and the streets were great.

Here is evidence I went yarn shopping. Lemon! Our former car is here, parked behind the Studio. My sock yarn came in, and of course I had to go get it. I've already swatched it and am making a tee for Fry.

The Fry was bushed this evening and passed out on the couch, so the boy and I went for a superlong walk. We didn't see Gomez this evening. Gomez is another beagle we stop and say hi to every time.

Presidents' Day passed, and in honor of that, the Kansas City Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution dedicate a wreath to Washington's Statue every Presidents' Day. (Is it t's or ts'? There's more than one president...) The weather was clear, but cold, so we all enjoyed running off to Pierpoint's in Union Station for lunch. We had to use our best manners, cloth napkins and all.

Isn't she sweet? The baby had to stay home today, due to 'not feeling good'. Sore throat, nausea, and sleeping all morning long convinced me. Tomorrow, though, she's out of here. I snuck in a few kisses on that sweet face.

Here's the bottom of Frygirl's cardigan so far. It's at 15 inches and I'll divide for armholes at 16 inches. Yay! I love progress.

Here's a better picture of the brown Rowan Summer Tweed on the hanger instead of me. I know, I'm bragging, but most people don't guess I made it. :D

After some water and homemade chicken noodle soup, Fry felt well enough to play with her pup for a little while. She's already back in the house, relaxing.

Finally, here's the bottom of the Husband's sweater. Poor guy, it only took me two to three years to make him another. The color is so wrong on this, it should be a lot more maroon. It's his favorite and he's already loving the fabric.

The photo below shows the color much better than the one above.

Let's see... Other than great times with friends, fun times with my dog and cat, and cleaning house, it's been business as usual. I walked Lucky the superlong walk today, 2.5 miles, because tomorrow we'll have arctic temperatures. Supposedly. It'll drop back into the twenties. Not bad unless it's windy. Give me a couple-three months, I'll be whining about the heat. ;)

Update and Pictures!

Isn't everyone ready for some Friday fun? It snowed a good three inches, if not more, here on Tuesday, and is still covering the ground. Fry was home on Wednesday, so of course I did nothing significant. Tuesday, I spent most of the afternoon with Mary, admiring her home, having lunch, and adding to the yarn stash, (of course). I had a great time, it was fun being a lady who lunches. All I needed was the wide brimmed hat and tiny dog in my purse. Although how anything more could fit in there, I don't know.

So what was bought? Let me show you!

This is for my own Bacardi cardigan, which may be a pullover. I'd rather have pullovers, and I already have a nice Summer tweed cardigan. I also don't have a picture of it, but Chelle does! At any rate, here's the yarn for the pullover:

Fry is still getting her cardigan to match her crazy socks, here is the yarn bought before Tuesday's outing.

The first picture in Chelle's post shows Kay and her wonderful Dome Hill Yarn. Chelle tells more about the feeding frenzy when Kay brought this lovely stuff to sell. I scored some of my own after it was 'picked over' which is great. I have such a hard time deciding which one to get, I loved the help the other gals provided. Their 'sacrifice' is very appreciated. Black Rose happens to be the Husband's favorite color. How do I know this? He picked the yarn for his next sweater, which is the big ball of burgandy in the background here.

I had fun getting acquainted with Mary's cats. They're all former strays or from the 'home' as my aunt puts it. Even the cranky one sorta liked me at first. I learned something new, that all cats don't like their back scratched. Claude does, loves it, in fact. Behind the ears is ok, but the places on his back he can't reach, when scratched, starts his purr motor in high gear.

This is Claude saying, "I like it when she whispers 'Cat Food!' best."

Poor guy was all worried yesterday. I took all the kitchen rugs into the living room for vacuuming, robbing him of his favorite 'flops'. He wandered around with a worried look on his face before heading upstairs to sleep on our bed. I spent a couple of hours spring cleaning the kitchen and wood floors. After that, I was going to wash the sheets, but didn't want to disturb Claude. He looked so sweet and comfy, I couldn't kick him out of bed.

Speaking of sweet...When Fry came home, she was feeling tired, cranky, and sick. She protested over taking a nap, but I made her go upstairs, get in our bed, and lay there for 15 minutes. If she didn't fall asleep, then she didn't need a nap. She was out before I got my running shoes tied. Both she and Claude were snuggled, sound asleep. So what did I do? Walked the dog!

Poor Lucky! We did the super-long walk for 2.4 miles. The weather was so nice, middle thirties, that we had a decent time. He pulled on me the whole way, which is a big no no. My trapezoids are sore from trying to keep him in line. On our walk, a yellow school bus dropped off some elementary kids who had to love on him and feed Lucky some treats for tricks. Everyone loves the shake. :) After that, we saw Gomez, another beagle in the neighborhood. His owners don't know we stop by on every walk to say 'Hi'. Since some dogs have sensitive tummies, we never feed Gomez treats, but do pet him a little. Lucky goes bananas, wanting to play, while Gomez is quiet and sweet.

Yesterday, Fry came home and asked, "Why is there yarn on the stove?"

Everyone who's ever dyed yarn knows why! I'm in the mood to create some crazy colors of my own. Should be a fun fiasco.

In the knit projects area: Little Goopa's (my baby sister) birthday gift is almost done! Second sleeve and a collar, and I'm done! I'm using Berroco's Love It! I really do love this yarn, it's aptly named. It knits superfast and is nice and squishy. Fry has a hoodie I'm working on, but I'm not liking Red Heart's Strata. It's rougher than the Supersaver, and it's a good thing I love the color. The raspberries and cream colorway, Passion, is what's keeping me going on this.

Here comes the sun!

Like the weather around here, my moods change every few days. Getting sun every chance I could helped, too. Lucky, Fry, and I did a long walk Thursday. Not so sunny, but getting out was good. There's snacks for the Superbowl, and tomorrow is Knit Group. Sounds like a great weekend, huh?

I think the biggest news is, other than I have a lot of great friends, is, Red Crablegs are on sale at Sunfresh for $7.99 a pound. If that isn't a great thing, I don't know what is. :D

Still blue? Yep.

I've been trying to think of what to blog about, something fun, interesting, even controversial.

The best I can come up with is: Did everyone/anyone see the Kansas governor's response to Bush's State of the Union address? She kept talking to "Mr. President". This was nonsensical on two counts. One, he WASN'T watching. Two, if he accidently WAS, he DOESN'T CARE. He's done his time, made him and his friends their money and is on his way out. Why should he do anything that doesn't profit him and his own friends? He hasn't before now, and he isn't going to do anything in the last 300+ days left.

Fun? Interesting? I've got nothing. It's knit, clean, walk dog, diet. That's it. Do I need to get out? Probably, but the Husband is in one of his "Save Money" modes. I could run around, but would have to listen to the current "Save Money" lecture.

Maybe I'm just depressed because of the cold weather. We had a taste of warmth over the weekend and Monday. Today, it's worse than a deep freeze. I tried walking Lucky just the short walk and couldn't even do a fourth of it. The wind was blowing sleet into my face. It was horrible and poor Lucky didn't even get a chance to poo. My thoughts were, he can poo on his own time, I'm getting back in the house. Fry just checked and played with him for a good thirty minutes, so I know his house is warm. We turn up his heater as needed. Lucky and I did walk not only the long walk of 2.4 miles yesterday, but also added a good half mile to that. The weather was so nice, we had to!

I think a part of the depression is not losing weight despite eating out only once a week, if that, and exercising every day by walking a mile or two with the dog. This time, I'm logging every bite and every step, no matter how good or bad they are. It might make a difference in the outcome, it might not.

I'm so blue!!

Funny how this is accurate. I liked Richardson's foreign policy ability, but sadly, he is no more. Feel free to take the test, comment, and disagree if you want.

2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Grrr.

I'm not mad, really, just frustrated.

Somehow, Lucky is able to get out of his sweater. In the interest of making it comfy, it's too loose. Arg. I'll have to add another few inches to the collar after all to keep it on him. We went for a very short walk this morning in 1F temperatures. Yikes! He needs that sweater on a day like today. At least the temperatures will get up in the mid twenties. Lately, that's not too bad. We're having a heat wave forcasted for Saturday/Sunday. 46 and 53F, barely jacket weather.

There were good intentions in keeping to the Stash Burn 2008. Use what you have and stop buying yarn. Baby sister, Goopa, has requested something knitted and in a particular color I don't seem to have. Again, arg. Don't I have enough of every color for something? Yes, sort of. Enough color, but not in the same kind of yarn. So, I had to order more. Sure, this could be a cop out, but not really. All the pinks I had were either too pink, too bulky, or too acrylic. Blech.
I chose Berroco's Love It! because I really do love this yarn. It's fun to knit up, and I might as well confess...

A couple of weeks ago, I learned that Love It! Colors has new colors available. None of the websites, not even Berroco's, has them knitted up to see how the colors pool. I had to get a ball of each new color, plus the others I'd never used.

Fry keeps trying to claim Goopa's present. Silly kid. I'm already working on her cardigan. After all the mania of Christmas knitting, I don't know where to start on the project list. I have a huge list of items to do on my Ravelry page, and they all look like fun. In the interested of knitting down the yarn collection, I took out the items that required new yarn. There's so many cool things to knit up, I'm looking forward to the 2008 knits.

Picture time!

Yesterday, my husband and I happened to glance out of the front window to see...

Fry and Lucky on the sled. Lucky was very reluctant to stay on the moving object, despite Fry's best efforts to drag him along. My cameraphone also takes video, which is a riot to see her sledding down, dragging the dog alone with her. The videos have an unintentional laugh track.

Then, today I finished Lucky's sweater. This wasn't a tough knit, just something I had to pay attention to. It was also so small, I thought I'd be done sooner than this. At least it's done before the week warms up, hmm? Yes, he's in the house, we were about to go for a walk.

This is he and the Hubs at the end of the walk. Here, you can see Lucky going for the ankle. Such a savage animal.

A girl and her pup. I love my kid, she's so sweet.

Then, here she is in the sweater I made her. One of our neighbors suggested I make them matching sweaters, which is a great idea! I can't wait to start.

P.S.

There's a cute, "What Yarn are You?" test that I took and voila', the results:

This explains a lot! I love the yarn, hate what it does to me with its high itch factor. What are Mohair girls like? This:

Mohair – A smooth, polished surface“Mohair is warmer than wool, with larger, flatter scales that contribute to an overall silky-smooth appearance. The fiber absorbs dye readily and, thanks to that smooth surface, reflects it back brilliantly.” –The Knitter’s Book of Yarn

Mohairs are positive and confident. You always strive to make a good first impression because you are a proud person, and you care a good deal about what people think of you. You are careful with your words and are always tactful. You enjoy having a broad base of support and respect from those whom you come in contact. You attract this with your warm, sunny, and inquisitive personality.

Cue the retarded joke:

Why, I haven't seen you since last year!

I know. You were warned.

So anyway, what have I been doing? A lot, but nothing involving sex and violence, thus, nothing blogworthy.

For someone resolving to use the yarn stash AND exercising on a daily basis, I've also done neither. Over the past couple of weeks, I've also been thinking about the title of the blog. Aren't I supposed to be in pursuit of something? Something unobtainable, but still a decent goal, anyway? Whatever could that be?

For the locals, Knitcraft has Tahki Classic Cotton on sale for $2.35. I bought enough to make that lovely cardigan in No Sheep For You, in colors matching Fry's Crazy Socks.

That, with the order for more of the Crazy Sock yarn from the Studio should lead to fun knitting later. There's quite a bit of Regia Stretch on sale, as still a bunch of Classic Elite's Galaxy. If you need a pattern for the Galaxy and the store is out, let me know. I might have a couple to slip you under the table.

This has been posted before, and bears repeating. Relpax is a miracle drug. Everyone sing, "If you had migraines like I have migraines, then you'd love Relpax, too!" If I've been odd in my communications in the past couple of days, blame the migraines and meds. Even in the knitting, I'm doing odd things. Thinking I've followed the pattern exactly, I still goof up the second sleeve on Fry's latest sweater. Overknit by at least six inches. In normal yarn, this would be ok. With boucle, it's a royal pain to unknit. Gah. This thing is a cuff away from being freakin' done, and yet, NOT! I've not had the patience to unknit today. Plus, I won't have the time tonight, with a Knit a Scarf for Teens class at the Red Bridge Branch. There's also a new My Name is Earl, of COURSE, since I'm teaching tonight.

Now cue up the 'heaven forbid I teach on a night with the stupid-ass game show night on NBC' whine. I loathe One in a Million and the hideous Deal or No Deal garbage. Loathe just as much as the heavily scripted and edited 'reality' shows. There are exceptions to the loathing, of course. I like The Biggest Loser, especially after they lose most of the weight and stop that stupid crying all the time. The transformations are wonderful.

Then, of course, is Cops. I love Cops, especially the dumb domestic disputes when both are equally at fault. The other disputes are just sad, but the stupid ones are a riot.

More on the resolution thing, watching what I ate and reducing was great up until PMS. For that one week, nothing carb-related is safe. It also happens that week was the same as Girl Scout Cookie week. I'd ordered them in a 'strong' moment, received boatloads of boxes in a huge weak moment. Ah well, the family around here helped, and I sent some to work with the Husband. Who didn't share. Ha! When our bed's legs buckle and crash us to the floor, at least it won't be only my fault.

There should be pictures, I'll have to look and find some for later. :)

Sorry!! Really!!!

Knitters who are on Ravelry.com and have me as a friend, sorry! I've been adding like a fiend to my queue. I already had a queue of projects in Word, but spent this evening correlating the two. Some patterns were in Ravelry, some were not. These were the ones not in their database already:

The Cat’s Meow,Family Circle Easy Knitting Winter 2001
Summer Garden Throw, Knitting Digest July 2004
Tri-Finca leaf shawl, Knit N Style 8/07

Splitz top, Knit N Style 8/05
Soft Cable Sweater, Ericka Wilson’s Knitting Book
Short Sleeved Sweater, Vogue Sp/Su 2001
Shaped Tee, Heartstrings pattern
Setesdal Stole, Two old bags
Run for the Roses, Knitting universe Spring 2006

Autumn Throw, Lion brand website (I've made two of these already, our Moms have one each.)

Things are pretty quiet around here. Fry is staying with her Aunt Toppa for a few days. It's sorta nice, sorta not. We get to take her dog for his training tomorrow, which wouldn't be bad if she'd worked with him at all this week. She's a much nicer 'mommy' than I am. I make the little guy mind me, Fry lets him do as he pleases. That's ok, I pretty much let HER do as she pleases, too.

After Christmas report.

Fry loved her Christmas presents!

She made me hold her lion while she snapped the picture...

Then, she made me hold her beagle...

Then, I had her take a picture of the lovely necklace she gave me.

The rest of the presents we gave each other would seem odd to anyone not in on the reasons. Gift cards to Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Home Depot, Starbucks, Quick Trip, and the local beauty college? Not 'the' chi chi places, certainly, but the reasons why are sweet. Fry and I love Red Lobster, Hubs loves Olive Garden, so we exchanged those. Hubs gave me the Home Depot just in case I wanted a power tool for a project. We have a Starbucks, McDonald's, and Taco Bell moving in a block from our house, making me feel claustrophobic. Fifteen dollars worth of mocha coffees does go a little way towards easing the pain. ;)

The Quick Trip, our local gas station and c store? A 'gift' certificate for that? I love fountain drinks, but we always have cans of soda in the house. Why should I stop by a c-store for one thing when I can just toss a can in the purse? With pay at the pump, I don't even need to stroll inside for a drink. The gift card forces me to treat myself.

The beauty school gift card will be fun. Hubs doesn't know it, but I'm planning on doing something to 'get' him. Right now, I'm going with putting in a blue hair rinse, and telling him the beauty school messed up big time. I don't mind too much it's from a beauty school. There was one time I'd spent $70 on just a cut, only to end up looking like Carol Brady. It's ok in the seventies, but not in the late nineties. Sheesh.

Toppa is doing great, no cookies were burned during a phone call, and Happy New Year to everyone who reads this! Our family is celebrating Christmas on January 18th, which means I still can't show off all my recent finished objects knitted. I'm working on a sweater for Fry, so I'll have to get a decent picture of it, soon.

Thursday, December 20, 2007

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this is a novel.

The lions are Fry's favorite animal. She was not happy that I didn't bring her home one of these. All I'm saying is, I wasn't getting two of them.

Fry wanted me to check out her 'grill'.

Very nice that it's not permanent.

Oddly enough, these trees should be upright. This was during the ice storm a week or so ago, at the side of our house.

On the other side, this. I love that pathway.

We drove through a holiday lights display. It really was a holiday display, not a Christmas display renamed for the overly sensitive. Very nice and very sleet/rainy.

There was swimming during our Branson get a way...

A tour of the Titanic...

And browsing through the Bass Pro Shop. Fry tried out every ATV and tried to convince us every kid in suburbia had one. Riiiight.

We went to a craft mall, me thinking there might be yarn hanging around, but no. It was a mall of already made crafts. All I can say is, there's a lot of crafters in China. So much for American made craft, hm? Still, the quilts were lovely.

There was excitement once home, and not of the good kind. My younger sister, the ever-popular Toppa, had to be rushed to the hospital. After the heart and lungs checked out fine, the tenative conclusion is an allergic reaction. Sounds trivial unless you're allergic to stings or nuts. The throat closing off the air supply is never a good thing. She's out and being constantly visited by her friends. While the three of us left her hospital room to let her sleep (she only had 2-3 visiters while we were out), we visited the nearby Home Depot for our dream bathroom.

Some people thought the sink plungers were 'sweet'.

What else? Cookies! I've been baking this week, and there's lots of cookies around here. They all taste good, I've had to check every one for 'quality'. Good excuse to eat the sweets, right? Most of them are presents to everyone else. :)

Finally, our Christmas tree lights. There's a few presents under there, but none of the ones I've bought are wrapped, yet.

Dumb thoughts...

So we're all cozied up in the house, since most of our utility lines are underground, and I'm thinking, I should email friends to see if they're ok.

Riiiight. If they're ok, chances are they've emailed or updated their blogs already. If not, they've probably lost power.

If I'd been thinking, I'd have taken a picture of the same scene below, only this time, the lattice roof had tons of icicles. I had to break them off the ceiling fan before they broke off the blades itself. Why is the shot ruined, now? It seems Fry is very impressionable. After I cleaned the fan with a broom, she cleaned the room, herself. She and Lucky played on the ice this afternoon, until they both froze out. She spent the day here, as all the schools are closed. Fry hogged the computer while I hogged my Kaffe Fassett books. I had three from the library and his latest from the bookstore. I'd like to do a classic Kaffe Fassett, and then maybe one of my own. We'll see. I'm almost done with Toppa's Christmas, which makes me restless to start something new.

Hubs is already home, Claude is asleep on his Kitty Pi Bed, and all is right in our world.

Cabin Fever

We've been hit with a major ice storm here. Really, it's minor, not enough to snap power lines, but enough to make driving around an adventure. I've been sending the Husband out on missions as little as possible. While the Advanced Dog training class went on as usual Saturday morning, by the noon hour we were socked in. So, no knit group, Sons of the American Revolution Christmas lunch, or Sons of the Union Christmas dinner, either. From the snow on Thursday, Fry's orchestra concert was cancelled that evening, too. I'd run around shopping on Thursday morning, and by the time I got back to the pickup, there was a couple of inches of snow on the ground already.

Look at how crisp and lovely that photo is. It was snapped with my Christmas present to me, a new Nokia 5300 phone. It's a camera, phone, and MP3 player all in one, just what I wanted. I spent the rest of Thursday and most of Friday loading my songs on it. Fry was not happy with me, she wants a cell phone, too. She'll just have to wait. We'll probably get her one next year, since we already have her cool present for this year.

On tap for tomorrow is a checkup for the Jeep and me slinking over to the Old Mill Stitchery to buy yarn. Like I need it, right? Still, one never knows what they'll have on sale. After that, I'm taking advantage of freedom to stop by the grocery store for canned goods. Fry won't eat vegetables unless they've been tinned. I've not started up the Christmas Cookie factory, yet. It'll happen, though. Fry and Hubs have been grousing about the lack of cookie around here, so I'll have to do something to hush them.

On the political front... Does it bother anyone else about Mike Huckabee spouting off about how Christian he is? He's now obtained the support of the Evangelicals. Everyone else in the running is a Christian, too. He's counting on all the flock blindly following whatever the preachers' leaders tell them to do. I just don't like his "I'm special because I'm a Christian" attitude. If he's special, then so is everyone else in the running. We have no other faiths in the race, they all came from the same root religion, Christianity.

So, to me, when they start talking about their particular religion, it ticks me off, because I'd rather hear what they'd do for the country.

December, The Silent Month

Why? Because no one can spill about the presents. I mean, who isn't knitting something for Christmas? Every year I say I won't inflict knitted crapola on my poor family, and every year, they talk me into doing just that.

Let's go on to updates...

The house was perfect for the Black Friday party. If it wasn't, and it wasn't, really, I was prepared with an open bottle of wine. Plus, I know the Jedi Mind Trick, even if it doesn't work on Hubs and Fry. My guests had a great time, matching my own. Lots of fun, food, and yarn all around.

NaNoWriMo, what to say? If a person wants to be harsh, I totally failed on the 50K words in a month. Yeah, I could be down about it, wearing the same flannel jammies for days, eating cereal out of the box, and drinking orange juice out of the carton. On the other hand, I'd written more in that one month than I had in all the five years before then. I used to be a contender, once, and this gives me tons of hope that I may be again. The attitude change is a major plus. Now all that needs doing is me dusting off my writing skills.

I've been ignoring the pond. Gah. There's been one thread of silicone to join the two liners, now I need to fuse them more.

I love my yarn room. It's not quite there, yet, but what is? I have way too many patterns but can't make myself throw them away. I think everyone loved the room, and loved it that Fry had a toy cash register set up for their 'purchases'. Silly kid.

Let's see, Mom, Goopa(baby sister), Mother-in-Law, and Toppa (middle sister) were on the knit list. Toppa's project is 30-40% done, and I'm wanting to get one more project done. This one is for the Husband, a sweater, and I swatched while hanging out at Honkerbean's last Thursday. Yumma, that place. Italian ice creams and coffee, such goodness.

If you've read this far, I'm rewarding you with nonsense!
